LifeCare Medical Center has been selected to participate in the Stratis Health CAUTI/SSI Initiative to reduce catheter-associated urinary tract and surgical site infections in Minnesota hospitals. The initiative is supported by the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and is being implemented by Stratis Health, Minnesota’s Medicare Quality Improvement Organization.
Over the next three years, LifeCare Medical Center will participate in quality improvement activities and interventions and will share best practices with other hospitals throughout Minnesota.
