LifeCare’s “BIG 50”

Posted on

LifeCare Medical Center is getting ready for a party. A BIG party.  Everyone in the community and throughout LifeCare’s service area is invited to save the date for “The BIG 50” on Saturday, September 8th. This community-wide event will celebrate fifty years of providing hospital service and care at the current Delmore Drive location in Roseau.  Activities for the day include a parade, car show, lots of games and food and some great music including the popular bluegrass band, The WoodPicks.  Watch for future articles for more information.

To help get the word out for this upcoming celebration, LifeCare has come up with a unique way to advertise “The BIG 50.” Demo Dude, Nick Anderson, will be making an appearance during the Roseau County Fair.  You can find Nick and his car in the Roseau County Fair parade on Tuesday, July 17th.  The parade begins at 5:30 p.m.  The duo will also be participating in the Demo Derby on Friday, July 20th at 7pm.  Look for number 50 in the compact car division.  After the fair, the Roseau Fire Department will use the vehicle for Jaws of Life training purposes. The car, “Big 50,” is a retired service vehicle from the LifeCare fleet and was recently purchased by Anderson who is a LifeCare employee.

Save the date, Saturday, September 8th for “The BIG 50” and see you at the fair!
