LifeCare Medical Center is offering $1,000 scholarships to two Roseau County students currently enrolled in a healthcare related, post-secondary academic program.
To qualify, students must have received a high school diploma from within Roseau County or currently be a resident of the county. All applicants must have completed at least one year of course work in a medical related program.
Awarded for the first time in 2008, this special LifeCare grant encourages students to continue studies in healthcare.
The scholarship is funded by LifeCare Medical Center as a not-for-profit organization that includes LifeCare Hospital, Greenbush Manor, Roseau Manor, Home Care and Hospice, Public Health and Rehabilitation Services.

LifeCare Medical Center is seeking applicants for a Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist. Applicants must have national registry certification or be eligible for certification. Join our current laboratory staff at our progressive rural laboratory serving a 25-bed critical access hospital, three satellite clinics and two nursing homes. This position requires working through all areas of the lab, with the weekend rotation of three out of eleven. Our laboratory is accredited by the Joint Commission. We are also a clinical site for the University of North Dakota CLS program. Full time and part time positions are available.
The Network Administrator is responsible for the development and support and administering the LAN and WAN of LifeCare Medical Center’s network and telecom operations, incident management, problem management, outages, and escalations. Providing maintenance and troubleshooting to the system, including ongoing administration, security updates and enforcing policy and procedures. Perform and maintain network systems backups per documented policies and procedures. Ability to perform typical advanced server and network administration skills to include upgrades and maintenance of hardware, operating systems, LAN/WAN, TCPIP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, Active Directory and other support functions. Knowledge of user administration, Microsoft Office suite support, Windows 7/8.1, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server, network routers, switches and firewalls. Strong knowledge of connectivity and communications protocols, as well as experience with cabling systems, routers and switches. Outstanding problem-solving ability and communication skills.
