Hospital Board welcomes Warroad’s Chuck Lindner
Warroad businessman Chuck Lindner has been added to LifeCare Medical Center’s board of directors. The president and CEO of Doug’s Supermarket, Lindner joined the board in September for a 6-year term.
“Not having a medical background, I needed a cheat sheet to understand all the acronyms used by the board during our first meeting,” Lindner jokes. “But I was reassured the reason for my being there was for my experience as a business leader and my interest in devoting some of my free time to a meaningful organization.”
The all-volunteer board consists of 13 Roseau County residents who, together, oversee the direction and long-term planning of LifeCare Medical Center.
Lindner moved to Warroad in 1994 after graduating with a degree in Management from Moorhead State University. He says living in Warroad encouraged his interest in running, biking, and hunting. He has competed in several triathelons and is chairman of the Ruffed Grouse Society’s local chapter. Lindner lives just south of Warroad where he enjoys family time his wife Bridget and their daughter Grace, 4.
“Oh, and better mention Gus, my running companion.”
Gus the dog is a 6-year-old Weimaraner.
