Medical Services: Birthing Center

LifeCare Birthing Center provides quality medical care and personalized attention during a very important milestone in your family's life. We offer the comforts of private suites with the Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Post-partum concept -- allowing families to have their entire birth process in the same room.

State-of-the-art healthcare is available from your provider in the comfort of a room with a home-like atmosphere.

Labor and Birthing Room tours may be arranged if you are not planning to attend prenatal classes.

LifeCare offers pain management options for you to discuss with your healthcare provider.

Special teaching is available during your hospital stay on lactation education and the care of both mom and baby in order to help mom become comfortable with all the new things that she will be experiencing. In addition, LifeCare Home Care Services is available to make a follow-up visit to all new mothers after discharge.

The usual length of stay is 2 days for a vaginal birth and 3 days for a C-section.

Prenatal Classes

Prior to delivery, LifeCare Medical Center staff is proud to offer Prenatal Classes to our community. The sessions are held at LifeCare Medical Center, in the Auxiliary Room, one night a week for three consecutive weeks, from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. throughout the year.

Please meet in the ER lobby on the first night of class. Your instructor will show you to the Auxiliary Room.
