Outpatient Surgery:

In LifeCare’s modern surgical suite approximately 400 surgical cases are performed each year. We have a general surgeon on staff in additional to other physicians who perform procedures as credentialed.

Visiting specialists also perform surgical procedures in the LifeCare Operating Room. Scheduled surgery is Monday through Friday with surgery staff on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to respond in emergency situations.

Our surgical patient population consists of infants through geriatrics.

General surgery including laparoscopic procedures, ear, nose and throat procedures, eye procedures, urological procedures, gynecological surgery, and obstetric surgical procedures are performed on a regular basis.

• Endoscopy, Infusion Therapy and other diagnostic procedures such as thoracentesis, breast and other biopsies are also performed in the outpatient area. All procedures are performed by a physician with the assistance of a nurse or qualified technician.
