Ice Skating Treadmill

LifeCare’s Ice Skating Treadmill is located in a building on the corner of Main Street and Highway 11 in downtown Roseau. The Skating Treadmill is large enough for a user to skate and work on lateral striding movements, including crossovers, while the surface moves under them just like the belt on a treadmill. The skater can also work on their puck passing and stick handling skills— all while skating at full speed and remaining in one spot.

The Skating Treadmill offer a 4 ft x 8 ft sheet of “practice ice,” and can run up to 20 mph forward and 5 mph in reverse. The slick surface is comprised of plastic components which are assembled in individual polythylene slats making the experience for the user Zamboni smooth, with none of the cracks, ruts, or divots that can be found on real ice.

Wellness Center

LifeCare Rehabilitation Services in Roseau, Greenbush and Warroad are proud to be able to offer to their communities the opportunity to become a member of a Wellness Center. As a member, clients have access to all the great workout equipment the department has to offer, including treadmills, elliptical trainers, resistive exercise equipment, and more. In the Roseau and Greenbush locations, members have 24/7 access to the gym. To encourage active participation in physical exercise, many insurance companies reimburse members a portion of their membership fee.
